North Carolina WIC Farmers Market (FMNP)
The Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) provides WIC (Women, Infant and Children Nutrition Program) participants in select counties with coupons to purchase fresh fruit and vegetables at their local farmers’ markets. The program is designed to improve the nutrition of WIC participants and increase business for local farmers.
Coupons are distributed to participants at their local WIC agency. Participants are issued six coupons valued at $3.00 each on a one-time basis.
