Public Pools
North Carolina law requires that no public swimming pool shall be constructed without prior written approval form the local health department. Plans and specifications meeting the requirements found in Rule .2505 "PLAN REVIEW AND APPPROVAL" shall be submitted to this department along with a check for $300.00. All plans shall be prepared by a registered professional engineer or registered architect.
